Winter Program

We are pleased to announce the beginning of our third season of Fall and Winter programs.

We're really excited to get started. We are always striving to improve the quality and affordability of our program, so that everyone can take part.

The registration is only open for the returned players at the moment since we have limited spots in the winter.

When the program will start:

The program will start on the 19th of October. Two weeks earlier than last year.

How many sessions will be:

For the categories that won't play in the league: They will have 15 sessions.

For the categories that will participate in the league: They will have 20 sessions with ability to increase.

Which teams will play in the league:

All of U9-10-11-12-13 and 14 boys in addition to U15F/16F will participate in Concordia league which takes place at Stade de Montreal in 7V7 Format.

The league consists of 10 matches every other week. The schedule will be out shortly and the games will be on Saturdays and Sundays. (No fixed dates for the league per category.)

In case of practice/games conflict, the practices might be moved from Saturday to Sunday and vice versa on a weekly basis.

When and where will be the practices:

For the teams that participate in the league, the practices will be on weekends and some on weekdays.

For the teams with no league, it will be similar to last year, just during the weekends.

We renewed our contract with Collège de Montréal. We are still looking for other places around for weekday practices.

The tentative schedule for weekends is below but it's still subject to slight change in terms of date & time:

Weekend practices:

SATURDAY
19th, 26th of October
2nd, 9th, 23rd, 30th of November
14th, 21st of December

SUNDAY

3rd, 10th, 24th of November

What is the cost of the program?

There is a small increase to the fee for youth and teams that won't participate in the league, which is this year $350. It includes the jersey, gym and coaching fees.

For the teams that will join the league, the fee is $425, which includes the jersey, session fees and league fees. Half can be paid upon registration, and the rest will be charged on January 1, 2025.

Do teams play friendlies or join a tournament?

Similar to last year, we will do our best to arrange friendlies especially for the teams that doesn’t play in the league.

Concordia organize the 36h tournament. Some teams might join but the fees will be paid by the participants.

How can I register?

You can register by visiting our Spordle page here.

Will there be merging? Do we have the same coaches as the summer?

Depending on the number of registrations, we might merge some groups like girls and kids U8 and below.

Some head coaches will be there but in the winter we always have experienced coaches to run the sessions.

Will there be any future changes in the schedule?

We prefer not to change but sometimes the Collège de Montréal could change the hours after the new year. We will notify parents as soon as we hear of gym availability changes.

My kid was with U10 in the summer. Which group should he/she join in the winter?

The players will continue with the same summer group until the end of April 2025, when he/she will move to U11 for the summer.

Will there be a pause between fall and winter?

Yes, normally we stop the activities from mid-December to mid-January.

What should I bring with me?

Soccer shoes (No studs). Preferably turf one. Please refer to the photo below.
